Windows: Why new versions of 3D WebView don't support Windows 7 or 8

3D WebView for Windows and macOS uses Chromium as its browser engine. In Chromium 110, Chromium dropped support for the legacy Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems because they have reached end of life and are no longer supported by Microsoft. 3D WebView v4.4 upgraded to Chromium 111, and as a result, 3D WebView v4.4 and newer requires Windows 10 or newer. If your application must support Windows 7 or 8, you can use 3D WebView v4.3.3, which is the last version of 3D WebView that uses Chromium 100. You can view and download previous releases of 3D WebView (like v4.3.3) through the Vuplex Developer Dashboard.
